Barbecue at Changi

We went there one week in advance to check out the BBQ Pit. It looked a little run down. We were wondering if we should change the venue.

They just run around all the time.  As parents, we need to learn to let go and stop saying don't run :-)

In the early evening, the kids had lots of fun playing in the swimming pool. It was like a private pool as there were only a handful of other visitors.

Peng is doing all the hardwork of starting up the fires. See, who is standing there watching and not helping?

By 7pm, it started to drizzle. Luckily it didn't turn into a downpour and we enjoyed a very breezy and cooling BBQ evening.

This is the group photo that has everyone.

After the event, we "detained" 3 kids to keep us company for a few days at our home.

Walking with Dinosaur

The stage props and lighting were done very nicely. Even the fake tree looked so colorful and alive.

When this long-neck dinosaur appeared, Ben and Jon were shouting out it's name: "Brachiosaurus".

See how close they are to the audience. It is worth sitting in the front row. My seat is great for taking photo.

After the interval, we saw a giant flying bird. It was hanging from the roof with simulated background showing it flying over sea and valleys.

This is the loudest dinosaur, Tyrannosaurus Rex.

This is the great narrator for this show, running and hidding away from dinosaur all the time :-)

All of us enjoyed the show.

Jessie was a little tired.
